pub crawl was okay! like we went to five different places to drink beer. okay, maybe drink was not such a good word to use. i would say we went to five different places to chug beer. haha. it's pretty fun with the games and stuff. at least we are entertained :D

starting sch next weds. and i'm having a physics test. hope i can do well so that i won't have to go for extra classes. not touching physics for 2.5 years and learning physics again is hard! :(

food fundamentals sound reallyyy cool! we cook for our 4-hour lab :D

finally has more time today. went to the bank (again) and luckily i knew my way. i would say my sense of direction is really not bad! haha, i actually knew where to alight when the driver kept speaking to me in french. all i had in mind was je ne parle pas francais, vous parlez anglais?

bought a few canned food from metro plus and i really think that it comes in handy when you're extremely hungry or when you're in a rush. bagels are my fav brekfast now! esp. with strawberries :D raspberries would have been the best! the strawberries here are alot sweeter than those in singapore's.

i actually kinda want to be a permanent res in canada, specifically quebec. it is really quite a nice place with freeze-you-to-death weather and really nice people! i guess i never knew what customer service is until i am here. it's really awesome!

so far, people have been talking about them loving mcgill and more importantly loving mac. i've not said any so far. well, it's not that it's not nice. the seniors and staff are pretty good but i probably won't say so for the freshman?

as you walk along the corridors at night, you can actually smell beer everywhere. every morning you'll find beer cans or beer tubs in the trash and when we were at pub crawling. almost everyone was smoking pot. i mean it's rather normal/usual for them. it's not like a cultural shock or something, it's just that i would rather not associate not because i do not like it but worried that i might like it.

i've been keeping a distance with the party people these days. and i think it would be a wise decision to do so.

going la ronde on sat! happy! la ronde is something like six flags in the states. and i realised that there are alot of people from boston, new york and philly.
